OUR SHOWCASE

MOMENTS BEFORE

This was originally made for a school project, as a political ad campaign for Marc Antony from William Shakespeare's play Julius Caesar. In this advertisement, Marc Antony is campaigning to bring war to Brutus, one of Caesar's murderers.

The water in the lake is interrupted - it stirs, rippling in opposite directions, as if looking for its interrupter. This concept is taken to our protagonist's mindset, as he is once stirred - he looks for his interrupter.

Except he finds his direction - and heads to the lake. The shootout that ensues is the man's fight against interference, and want in regaining equilibrium

Behind the efforts of every writer is defeat and denial. Spending endless hours on a script only to get it turned down by a producer is the unfortunate circumstance we all wish to avoid. The Writer is a short film about overcoming denial and moving on to create something greater.

This film was originally created for a competition, in which a 3-minute short film had to be written, shot, and edited within 8 hours, and centered around the phrase: "You can't do that."

CONTENTIONS

Contentions is a film about a prisoner who tries to convince himself that he did not killed his brother, but his consciousness proves him otherwise.

This story delves into the mind of a bipolar killer and follows his reasoning for committing such an act.

Contentions won the Superior award at the SkillsUSA state competition for short films as well as the District 7 Award in 2015.

Night Lights follows the reminiscence a man experiences upon sudden death. This film features a monologue-based story, filled with montages similar to that of films such as The Thin Red Line (1998).

The idea for this film originated from the novel The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. The nostalgic feelings Gatsby had for his love, Daisy, are represented in this short film.
